PRINCIPAL'S CORNER

At Grimes we are pursuing a year filled with success through hard work and dedication by providing students with daily opportunities to grow. The hard work is the responsibility of us all - teachers, students, staff, families and administrators. Let's all support Grimes.

State testing is almost complete for 3rd - 5th grades students; 6th graders have testing on April 30th.  We are asking for your help to encourage your child to focus their efforts on learning and keep distractions to a minimum. Students who prevent others from learning will have consequences. We need to prepare students with the knowledge they need to do their best.

The district has proposed a bond for this May. Be sure and attend a community meeting to learn more about this bond which is about school security updates and technology improvements. According to the priority list, we will receive a new security system with cameras and security access doors beginning in August.
